MEMPHIS: April 2, 2016 - Woman accused of Sex Trafficking

A Memphis woman is behind bars after being accused of sex trafficking.

Aasia Hudson, 25, is charged with promoting prostitution and trafficking for commercial sex act.

Memphis police say Hudson had been traveling with a 14-year-old girl for three weeks aiding her to have sex in exchange for money.

According to the affidavit, the teen would give Hudson the money for gas and hotel fees. The document also says Hudson paid for a cell phone that the teen used for prostitution.

Police say the teen would post her own sex ads online.

Hudson told officers she believed the teen was under the age 18, but still agreed to help with her sex business.

Hudson’s bond is set at $100,000.
