Grand Jury Indicts Human Trafficking Suspect

LEXINGTON (WKYT) A Tennessee man is in jail in Lexington, after being charged with human trafficking.

Calvin Walker, 45, was arrested Wednesday morning at the Catalina Motel and charged with two counts of human trafficking for allegedly forcing two women to work at a local strip club, then taking their money.

The women say he lured them here from Tennessee, then when they tried to leave, he took their identification and their money.

Walker pleaded not guilty in court Thursday, and will be back in District Court next week. He's facing a Class C Felony, which is punishable by 5 to 10 years in prison.
