Nashville, TN - August 3, 2012
Doug Clemmons, 51, of Carthage, Tenn. was arrested at his home last evening and charged with one count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor after exchanging child pornography with another individual. TBI agents executed a search warrant at his home located at 103 Lebanon Road in Carthage, Tenn. to gather additional evidence in the case against him after receiving information that he was engaged in illegal activities involving a minor. He was booked into the Smith County Jail without bond.

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today presented additional charges to the Smith County Grand Jury resulting in a 25 count indictment against a Carthage, Tenn. man originally arrested Friday for one count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Today’s charges were served on him while he remains in custody in the Smith County Jail.
Doug Clemons, 51, of 103 Lebanon Road, Carthage, Tenn. was indicted on 13 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, four counts of trafficking for sexual servitude, one count of attempted trafficking for sexual servitude and one count of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Clemons was arrested Friday after he was caught exchanging child pornography with another individual. TBI executed a search warrant on his home resulting in additional evidence gathered against him including information about a juvenile victim of sex trafficking. Clemons bond has been set at $220,000.
