Oct 30, 2014 - Win for the victims of Sex Trafficking today, in Nashville. After a two and a half day jury trial, Mr. Michael Kohlmeyer was convicted today of Human Sex Trafficking. Mr. Kohlmeyer was trying to buy a 12 year old girl for the purpose of keeping her for a month and then trading her out for a different girl.
This predator was brought to the attention of the police after he contacted a woman who was working as an escort on Backpage. His inquiry for young girls concerned her enough that she herself called the police. This lead to some excellent police work that ultimately led to Mr. Kohlmeyer's arrest and now conviction.
