NASHVILLE: March 21, 2015 - Woman charged with Sex Trafficking

Nashville police found a woman who was forced into prostitution and not allowed to eat for two days on Friday night, leading to a sex trafficking charge against a Nashville woman.

Vice detectives arrested Fenshan Quan, 55, on a charge of felony sex trafficking.

Police said an anonymous complaint put their attention on an apartment at 2258 Lebanon Pike in Donelson, where an undercover officer responded to an Internet advertisement promoting erotic massage. Quan directed another woman to perform sex for $100, police said.

During questioning, the 52-year-old victim was "visibly shaken and appeared to be in fear of Quan," police said. She'd been flown from New York to Nashville earlier in the week and directed to perform sex acts on multiple men. The woman kept $20 for each encounter and Quan kept $80, police said.

The victim, who had not eaten in two days, has since been connected to a service agency for housing and food.

Quan is jailed on a $55,000 bond.
