KNOXVILLE - May 27, 2016: Woman charged with Sex Trafficking of Minor

Description

A Knox County woman is facing several charges including Sex trafficking of a minor.

Officials say Michelle Bennington knowingly transported a minor less than the age of 18, with the intention that the minor participate in pornographic activities back in September of 2013.

Bennington is also accused of running a prostitution business and encouraging a minor to become a prostitute.

Bennington is facing a total of 6 counts and her charges include Esp. Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, promoting Prostitution of a Minor and Trafficking For Commercial Sex.
