East Memphian Jordan Mark Stidham, 27, allegedly recruited co-defendants Bradley Neil Pryor, 32, and Joey Phillip Haring, 30, to help hire juveniles into the business of “massage/prostitution,” according to the police affidavit.
According to the report, the three men met two 16-year-old girls and one 17-year-old girl July 17 in the Raleigh-LaGrange and Goldbrier area and “recruit(ed)” them. The men allegedly took the girls to a hotel near the I-240 and Poplar Avenue intersection and then placed a “sexually provocative advertisement” online to attract customers for one of the 16-year-old girls, the report states.
The girl was engaging in sexual activity when police arrived at the scene.
Police said the sexual activity was consensual. The three men were the only suspects charged.
Stidham was charged two days after Pryor and Haring because he was being questioned by police about possible other similar incidents.
Police said the case is ongoing and there could be more victims.
